Come to the public meeting to hear Westminster Council's ideas

We're delighted to say that nearly a year after we started our campaign, Westminster City Council have agreed that something needs to be done and have agreed to consult with the community and share their proposals. Which is great.

Here's the letter we received from our local councillors who have been pushing this over the last year.

(Please note that the Safer Saltram Campaign has been run by residents and is not affiliated to any political party - our counclliors are doing what they were elected to do regardless of whether you voted for them or not. So do please support them in this now)

Dear Resident,

It's been a while since our last update, but we have some positive news for you!

Westminster have looked at the particular issues affecting Saltram Crescent and agree that something should be done, provided local residents are happy with any plans.

Officers have agreed to commence consultation with residents on proposals, and we have booked the Church Hall for a meeting. Councillor Ed Argar, the Cabinet Member for City Management, Transport and Infrastructure is hoping to attend for the first part.

Westminster should be putting out some communication to local residents before the meeting, but we wanted to give you as much notice as possible so you can keep the date free!

Thank you for your continued support!

Regards
